Virtual Reality for Culture

This CD-Rom is a multimedia tool for the specialization course in Antiquity Teaching of the University of Ferrara, held by prof. Livio Zerbini, in collaboration with C.A.R.I.D. Centro di Ateneo per la Ricerca e l’Innovazione Didattica (University Research and Teaching Innovation Centre).

The CD-Rom has the following learning targets:

– Examining the great teaching potentials of interactive CD-Roms;

– Using the ‘additional interpretations’ of virtual reconstructions in ancient civilization studies;

– Examining the effectiveness of three-dimensional archaeological reconstructions in scientific research, in the understanding of archaeological contexts, and in cultural heritage management and enhancement.
