3D digital exhibition (3D Virtual Digital Exhibition) dedicated to the main archaeological evidence of sites in the southern Mediterranean area and the Emirates, identified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The exhibition has a diffusion (for exhibitions in museums, as well as on WEB and mobile devices) through the worldwide network of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (embassies, consulates and cultural institutes) with the aim of cultural enhancement and awareness raising for the protection of the Heritage World.
Each panel tells the story of the site (graphic images with virtual reconstructions, videos and augmented reality active on the plan of the monument, descriptive texts); how the site has come down to us (b / w photos and vintage prints, descriptive texts, the rediscovery and protection / restoration); what the site looks like today (photos, texts with UNESCO data and selection criteria as a World Heritage Site).
